Yesterday Room 11 had to make an egg pad for our egg to land on. My buddy was Connor and he was really good at making it. Our egg did not crack when we dropped it from the fort, it only had a little dent in our one. When I dropped the egg it rolled on the mat then it fell off.
Next time I make one I want to try and make it wider, squisher and taller so the egg does not fall off the mat.
My favourite mat was Indi and Alizah's because it was super squishy for the egg to land on. Natasha and Harrison's egg didn't crack, it was cool.

Masking tape art
On a nice
Friday morning, Room 11 did some masking tape art. We had Connor’s Mum, Pip
come in to help us out. First we got a piece of paper from either Pip or Mrs
Eaton. Next we got a roll of masking tape each. We had to put onto our paper in
the shape of a tree with no leaves! It took a while to do that. When I had
finished the tape, it was time to paint shades of blue for the background. We
painted a stripe of dark blue and we kept adding white until we got to the top
of the page. When we got back from morning tea, it was time to peel the tape
off and when we had done that they looked really cool! Next week we are going
to do some houses.

Homework Project
Today Connor brought his possum trap into school. It was his extra homework choice for this term. He built it with his Dad, it took all Saturday afternoon to build. He is going to try it out at his cousin's farm.
