Masking tape art

                   

On a nice Friday morning, Room 11 did some masking tape art. We had Connor’s Mum, Pip come in to help us out. First we got a piece of paper from either Pip or Mrs Eaton. Next we got a roll of masking tape each. We had to put onto our paper in the shape of a tree with no leaves! It took a while to do that. When I had finished the tape, it was time to paint shades of blue for the background. We painted a stripe of dark blue and we kept adding white until we got to the top of the page. When we got back from morning tea, it was time to peel the tape off and when we had done that they looked really cool! Next week we are going to do some houses.

The next week we did paper masking tape houses.  They turned out fantastic!
